Our worship time together is important in the life of our congregation.  We welcome visitors to come and worship with us at any time!  From Labor Day until mid May, Sunday morning worship is at 10:15 AM.  Our Sunday School and Adult Education hour is from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.   From mid May through Labor Day, worship is at 9:15 a.m. and Education Hour is not in session until the second Sunday of September.

The August 8, 2010 worship will be held in the Cottonwood City Park, located in the heart of the town,    between Prairie and Park Streets.  Worship begins at 9:15 a.m.  Bring a lawn chair and dress comfortably.

Nursery care is provided during worship services.  There is no Sunday School in the summer time; however, there are opportunities for faith development through our Vacation Bible School programs, Bible camp stays at one of our church camps, and youth group activities.

During the Lenten season, we also gather to worship on Wednesday evenings, at 7:00.
During Holy Week, we gather to worship on Maundy Thursday at 7 p.m. celebrating the Lord's Supper and on Good Friday at 7 p.m.
We celebrate our Lord's Resurrection on Easter with Holy Communion worship at 8 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.

Our worship services include a variety of liturgical styles, accompanied by either organ or piano, depending on the worship setting.  We regularly plan for a “Jubilee” alternative style of worship, using the vocal talents of many of our members – both youth and adults - to lead the song of the congregation as worship leaders.  Young people are important in our congregation, and they are often involved in Sunday morning services as readers, worship leaders, and assisting ministers.  On festive occasions, we call upon the instrumental talents of our members to add an extra dimension to the music.

Our Senior Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings during the school year to prepare anthems that support the Scripture texts and themes of our Sunday morning worship services.  Our repertoire is widely varied, from traditional to contemporary, gospel, and jazz.  We invite any singers – high school through adult – to join us and become involved in this vital ministry of the congregation.
